Born, Nov, 25, 1985 in Houston, Texas. Raised in Lumberton NC Jessica Hernandez BKA DJ Jay Mami experienced a tough childhood. In search of a positive outlet Jessica began to turn to music. Citing names like Spinderella, Mary J. Blige, Beyonce, and Queen Latifah. DJ Jay Mami obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Education with a minor in Liberal Arts in 2008, and gained employment as an Educator in Durham, NC and has been focusing on her deejayin, event planning, catering and cleaning career which is well on the rise. DJ Jay Mami wants to share her gift of therapeutic healing through music and deejaying with the world and has been able to passionately do so thus far.The ultimate goal for DJ Jay Mami and Jay Mami Enterprises is to continue to expand globally as well as inspire children and adults to get up and make it happen!!!
